About Us
Established in 1988, SBV is a high quality steel fabrication, structural steel, mechanical engineering, machining and project management company. Based in the Tees Valley at two major facilities and able to operate throughout the UK, we serve customers in the steel, power, mining, public infrastructure, recycling, process, and high-end general industrial sectors.
Our expertise encompasses steel fabrication in carbon and stainless, mechanical equipment packages, machining, manufacturing, assembly, fitting, erection, installation, commissioning, dismantling, refurbishment and site services.
Our focus is on complex and demanding projects and supply programmes, often time-critical and working in challenging environments. We undertake one-off projects of varying duration as well as lower volume series production.

We utilise the SAFETY PASSPORT, ACE and CSCS systems of safe working accreditation as part of our overall HS&E process
